Overview

Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff, operating retail chains of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods across Kentucky. We have 23 locations including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky, with delivery reaching 80% of Kentucky residents.

Role Summary

A Store Associate provides excellent customer service and drives sales through BRS products. They build customer relationships and deliver an exceptional shopping experience through sales, support, and cashier duties.

Responsibilities

Includes, but is not limited to:

1. Greeting customers and informing them about BRS products and services
2. Providing product recommendations based on knowledge of BRS offerings
3. Driving sales across all departments
4. Replenishing and maintaining inventory
5. Performing cashier duties, including handling transactions and adhering to policies
6. Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
7. Verifying age properly for all sales
8. Accepting payments via cash, checks, credit cards
9. Ensuring pricing accuracy and providing receipts
10. Processing refunds and exchanges
11. Balancing the register drawer
12. Bagging or boxing purchases securely
13. Following procedures for coupons and gift cards
14. Maintaining store safety and cleanliness standards
15. Assisting with promotions and store events
16. Additional duties such as vehicle policy adherence, safety for deliveries, and route following, as applicable

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
• Proof of Insurance
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
• Desire to develop retail skills and product knowledge
• At least one year of experience as a store associate or in customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• High School Diploma or equivalent

This role requires physical activity including standing, moving, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending/kneeling.
