Job summary

Ace Liquor Discounter is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Ace Liquor Discounter Woodbine. You will greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations while ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and accuracy in cash handling, shelf replenishment, and basic inventory tasks. ProServe certification is preferred or willingness to obtain; physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
