Overview

Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff. We operate a retail chain of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods in Kentucky, with 23 locations across the state, including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky. Our delivery radius reaches 80% of Kentucky residents.

Store Associate

Full-Time/Part-Time

Overview

As a Store Associate, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and drive sales of BRS products. You will build relationships with customers and ensure they have the best shopping experience through sales, support, and cashier duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them about BRS products and services
• Know BRS products to recommend to customers
• Drive sales across all departments
• Replenish and maintain inventory
• Perform cashier functions, including handling transactions and adhering to policies
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification procedures
• Accept payments via cash, checks, and credit cards
• Ensure pricing and quantities are accurate and provide receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Balance the register drawer
• Bag or box purchases for safe transport
• Follow procedures for coupons and gift cards
• Maintain store safety standards and cleanliness
• Assist with promotions and event setups
• Additional duties may include vehicle policies and delivery safety standards, delivery to customers, route following, and reporting vehicle issues

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Proof of Insurance
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Desire to develop retail sales skills and product knowledge
• At least one year experience as a store associate or in customer service
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to stand, move, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/kneeling
