Store Associate Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Assist customers with purchases and locating items.
• Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Manage inventory, including stock checks and product organization.
• Maintain store appearance, including cleaning restrooms and grounds.
• Follow company policies and safety standards.
• Close and reconcile registers, report discrepancies.
• Prepare and serve hot food items where applicable.
• Assist with fuel spill cleanup and other safety-related tasks.

Work Environment:

• Primarily in retail store settings.
• Frequent proximity to fuel pumps, vehicles, and outdoor grounds.
• Work may be in hot or cold environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods.
• Move freely inside and outside the store.
• Climb stairs/ladders, kneel, bend, lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to learn company systems.
• Adherence to company values and ethics.
• Effective multitasking and customer service skills.
• Trustworthiness in cash handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years retail or related experience.
• Experience with POS systems.
