Store Associate - Evening Cashier

Part-Time/Full-Time (Evening Shifts 2pm-9pm)

Our team is integral to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our stores. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Associate to join our team as an Evening Cashier.

Job Summary:
As an Evening Cashier, you will be the face of our store during evening hours. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
2. Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
3. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and responsibly.
4. Assist customers with inquiries about products, services, and store promotions.
5. Maintain accurate cash drawer and reconcile the cash register at the end of shift.
6. Restock shelves and merchandise as needed to ensure product availability.
7. Keep the checkout area and store clean and organized.
8. Assist in managing inventory by participating in stock counts and monitoring product levels.
9. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive team environment.
10. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
2. Previous cashier experience or retail experience preferred but not required.
3. Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
5. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
6. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [specific weight] as needed.
