Job summary

The Salvation Army in Waco, TX is seeking a store associate to assist customers with purchases and donations, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.

You will balance cash, provide tax receipts for donations, and help with loading items as needed. Prior customer service or retail experience is preferred, with a High School diploma or GED commonly expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchasing, donations, and store policies.
• Operate cash register, handle cash and receipts, balance drawer.
• Maintain store cleanliness and display organization.
• Assist with donor item processing and tax receipts as needed.
