Job summary

The Salvation Army in Dallas, TX is seeking a Full Time Regular Store Associate for ARC-DALLAS STORE 1. You will assist customers, stock and display merchandise, rotate stock, handle donations and receipts, and keep the store clean and organized. You’ll also answer phones and help maintain security in the shop.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; retail experience is preferred. Join a dedicated team serving the community with friendly, reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Retail experience preferred or equivalent training that demonstrates customer service and merchandising skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Stock, arrange, and display furniture, bric-a-brac, books, clothes, and other items.
• Rotate and/or rearrange stock as needed.
• Return items to the proper location.
• Perform routine security activities while observing customers shopping in the store.
• Move donations to storage area; prepare and provide donation receipts.
• Perform cleaning activities; sweep and mop floors and clean display racks, shelves, windows, and storage areas.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
