Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to operate cash registers and other equipment; handle money and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave; offers assistance and recommendations.
• Rings up sales on cash register accurately and processes payments.
• Performs multi-function operations of fuel, lottery, money order, telecom, etc.
• Reports to work on time and follows dress/appearance code.
• Monitors product displays and ensures shelf readiness and pricing compliance.
