The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions

1. Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist in locating additional items as needed.
3. Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
4. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
5. Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Provide customer support across departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational, and remain updated on services and tools.
7. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities.
8. Embrace and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs aligned with our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs, visual acuity for reading and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 24

Time type: Part time

Pay range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
