The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance in locating items when needed.
3. Performing cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational, and remaining current with services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy staff when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development opportunities.
8. Promoting CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Physical ability to stand upright for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and handle objects overhead as needed.
• Close visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 20

Time Type: Part time

Pay Range: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
