Job description

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Store associates are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction, while staying up-to-date with product features and maintaining high quality and visual standards of the products and store.

Store associates are tasked with achieving excellent customer service and consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #3472, located at 6449 Ronald Reagan Dr., Lake St. Louis, MO 63367. This is a multilocation role; the associate will work at multiple locations within a 15-mile radius.

Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors; access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company conducts a review of criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
