Job summary

Shoe Carnival in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking a Store Associate to greet customers, assist with finding shoes, and operate the register. You will handle cash, returns, and promotions while providing friendly, helpful service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Flexible part-time hours, on-the-job training, and opportunities to grow are offered. You’ll be standing and walking throughout shifts and helping maintain tidy displays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working on your feet.

If you have strong people skills, a positive attitude, and can handle basic math while working a register, you might be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers and offer help finding shoes and accessories
• Operate the register: handle cash, give change, and process returns
• Use basic math and counting skills for transactions
• Share promotions and Shoe Perks program with customers
• Keep displays neat, organized, and well-stocked
• Support loss prevention and store cleanliness

• Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
