Job description

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. They are also expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of quality and visual presentation in the store.

Store associates will have contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. To protect our business, reputation, and the safety of all stakeholders, a review of criminal history is required.

The selected individual will work at Store #2231, located at 1212 N. Peterson Rd, Douglas, GA 31533.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending products
• Build trust-based relationships with customers
• Accurately process sales transactions
• Meet sales goals on a regular basis
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
• Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products as per customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up displays
