Job description

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. They are expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of product quality and store presentation. The role involves providing excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.
Customer contact may include minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables is required, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public.

• Store #7672, 6644 Wilkinson Blvd, Belmont, NC

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
