The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance in locating additional items when needed.
3. Accurately performing cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor through restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks as directed.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing customer support across departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are stocked and operational, and staying current with services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities.
8. Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods.
  • Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
  • Visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer, reading, and visual inspection of small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20

Time Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The actual offer depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
