Position Details

Assistant Store Manager - $16.00 per hour

With a presence across 34 states, we aim to be an industry leader, providing essential fuel and convenience products nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Store Environment: Greet and assist customers, resolve complaints, maintain cleanliness and safety, monitor service standards.
• Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, delegating tasks, coaching staff, managing schedules.
• Operations & Inventory Control: Manage inventory, conduct stock checks, ensure proper product handling and store policies.
• Sales & Financial Performance: Promote products, help meet sales goals, oversee cash handling, support budget management.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure legal and safety standards, conduct inspections, support emergency protocols.
• Reporting & Administration: Assist with payroll, reports, documentation of store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail or convenience store management experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education a plus.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle difficult situations calmly, excellent organizational skills, proficiency with POS and inventory systems.
• Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, climb ladders, and work in cold environments.
