Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture is seeking a Store Administrative Assistant in Vacaville, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role requires you to greet customers, manage the store on duty, process transactions and support payroll and recruiting tasks.

The position includes a 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. schedule from Saturday to Wednesday, starting wage at $22 per hour with room to grow, and benefits such as health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Office suite for daily tasks.
• Familiarity with HRIS, CRM and basic accounting systems.
• Ability to handle payroll and recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer calls professionally.
• Lead the sales floor as manager on duty and ensure smooth operations.
• Process sales transactions, refunds and service orders with accuracy.
• Assist HR tasks including payroll, recruiting and performance management.
• Collaborate with Accounting for cash handling and vendor checks.
• Maintain stocked, clean and showroom-ready premises.
• Support team to resolve issues and provide excellent service.

Location: 266 Bella Vista Rd, Vacaville, CA

Position: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday from 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Hourly Wage: Starting at $22/ hr with room to GROW!

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the friendly face that greets customers and answers calls with professionalism and positivity.
• Lead the sales floor as the "manager on duty" and help keep everything running like clockwork.
• Process sales transactions, refunds, and service orders with precision and care.
• Dive into HR tasks like payroll, recruiting, and performance management.
• Partner with our Accounting team to handle daily cash balancing, bank deposits, and vendor checks.
• Keep the store stocked with supplies and ensure everything is clean, organized, and showroom-ready.
• Collaborate with the team to solve problems, support customers, and make the store a fun place to work!
