What You'll Bring:

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Preferred Skills:

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Role: Under supervision, the Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous service. Responsibilities include cleaning, filling, and rotating meat and seafood displays, working with the Meat Cutter, cleaning shelves and cases, and assisting customers. The environment is fast-paced, requiring physical activity such as lifting, standing, and walking. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
