• Ability to read and write in Spanish and English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions with customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

The Opportunity:

Under the supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, cleaning display cases, shelves, and self-serve displays. Must be able to work various hours, including nights and weekends, and perform heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
