Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write in Spanish and English, and interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand and follow simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

The Opportunity

Under supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous service. This role involves assisting customers, cleaning, filling, and rotating cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli section.

The position involves two shifts: morning shifts focus on replenishing products as directed by the manager, and all shifts involve assisting customers and maintaining cleanliness. The environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, requiring physical activities such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling. Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food-related positions.
