Candidates should be able to:

• Read and write in Spanish and English, interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and understand instructions, product labels, pricing, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.

• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Job Responsibilities

Under supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly customer service, assists with orders, maintains shelves and displays, and collaborates with Meat Cutter for special cuts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods. The environment is fast-paced, requiring physical activity and attention to safety. A Food Handler Card or equivalent is required.
