What You'll Bring:

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Effective presentation of information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Application of common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Skills That Are a Plus:

• Basic PC and Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Opportunity:

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, setting up, maintaining, and cleaning seafood display cases, and rotating seafood products. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., and stand, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.

The environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store. Essential physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory attention. For more details and accommodations, please refer to the full job description in-store.
