• Ability to read and write in Spanish and English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.

• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.

The Role

Under the supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk provides friendly and helpful service, assists customers, maintains display cases, and rotates self-serve displays. Must be flexible to work nights and weekends, and capable of performing heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for extended periods. The environment is fast-paced, requiring physical stamina and attention to safety and cleanliness.
