Job summary

Calumet, Inc. is seeking a Storage Tank Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and closeout of above-ground storage tank (AST) inspection, repair, replacement, and capital projects across Calumet refinery facilities.

The role interfaces with operations, inspection, engineering, contractors, and regulatory teams. The candidate will interpret API 653 reports, track inspection intervals and corrosion data, and coordinate with API inspectors and third-party firms to ensure safe, compliant

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial project management experience, with AST repair projects.
Working knowledge of API 650 and API 653 standards.
Experience developing scopes of work and managing multi-contractor projects in refinery or bulk liquid terminal settings.
Familiarity with confined space, hot work, and H2S safety protocols.
Proficiency with JDE (or equivalent CMMS) for work order management.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end AST repair, replacement, and capital projects from scope through completion.
Develop scopes of work, RFPs, bid packages, and contractor evaluations.
Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and contractor performance.
Coordinate multi-discipline scope splits across mechanical, coating, civil, and environmental teams.
Interpret API inspection reports and translate findings into actionable repair scopes.
