Job summary

A leading technology company is looking for a System Engineer to support its Engineering team in San Jose, CA. The successful candidate will define and develop application benchmarks, execute testing, and collaborate with product managers on technical presentations. A Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in system engineering is required. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $165,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years system engineering experience in server products.
• Strong knowledge in server architecture and OS concepts.
• Knowledge in benchmarks, PCIe protocol, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop application benchmarks based on enterprise computing requirements.
• Execute benchmark testing and build proof of concepts.
• Work with product managers to draft technical marketing presentations.

Skills

System engineering experience

Distributed computing
