Job summary

Capitalsolutionsgroup is seeking a Storage System Administrator to support the Corporate Storage Team at Fort Meade, MD. This full-time role requires working with a fast-paced, cross-disciplined technical team to ensure robust storage backup coverage.

Responsibilities include monitoring NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubrik, adding servers/VMs to backups, and coordinating fixes with vendors. The ISSO will be involved for vulnerability patches and SSP reauthorization.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with backup platforms (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).
• Strong teamwork in fast-paced, cross-disciplined environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubrik.
• Coordinate adding new servers/VMs to backups and troubleshoot issues.
• Configure new backup solutions as purchased.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate break-fix for backup appliances and storage arrays.
• Monitor and fix SAN issues via command line and zoning.
• Coordinate with ISSO to patch vulnerabilities and SSP reauthorization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a full time position supporting Corporate Storage Team.

Must be able to function / get alone well in a fast paced and cross disciplined technical team.

• Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik systems.
• Work with customers to add new servers and VMs into backups and to troubleshoot issues.
• Configure a new backup solution when purchased in GFY27.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate break fix for backup appliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubik) and disk arrays Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast and IBM storage arrays.
• Monitor and fix issues with the SAN using command line troubleshooting and zoning.
• Work with the ISSO to make sure that vulnerabilities are patched.
• Work with the ISSO for SSP reauthorization.
