Job summary

Parts Town, a leader in restaurant equipment and parts, seeks a Storage Specialist to optimize storage workflows and maintain accurate OEM part inventory. You will ensure safe, efficient storage locations and help maintain forward replenishments in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will demonstrate strong problem solving, attention to detail and adaptability, with communications in English. The position requires physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and willingness to obtain vehicle

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Adaptable to quickly changing environments.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Vehicle certification or willingness to be certified.
• Able to work 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays when needed.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies, cycle counts, and reconcile inventory inaccuracies.
• Identify and relocate unsafe products and move inventory to safer, more efficient locations.

The Job at a Glance

Our Storage Specialist (internally known as Proud Organizer of Parts) is responsible for optimizing workflows by ensuring inventory is in the right storage location, establishing forward location inventory levels and maintaining forward replenishments. This specialist will play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of Parts Town’s genuine OEM part inventory. Storage specialist will perform an essential function here at Parts Town making sure our inventory is stored in safe locations that promote operational efficiency.

A Typical Day

• Assist in planning inventory storage and optimizing DC picking and put away flows
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, cycle count, and reconcile inventory inaccuracies
• Identify and relocate unsafe products and move inventory to safer and more efficient locations

• You’re adaptable and thrive within quickly changing environments
• You possess the ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 4 0lbs unassisted
• You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)
• You are vehicle certified or willing to be certified
• You are looking to work 7 : 3 0 AM - 4 : 00 PM (CST) Monday through Friday and are able to work Saturdays when needed

About Your Future Team

The salary range for this role is $ 43 , 993.80 – 5 3 ,77 0 . 20 annually ($ 2 1 . 1 5 – 25. 85 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
