Job summary

Job description

• Administer and support dell powerscale dell powermax ibm svc and Cisco brocade San environment in enterprise data centers
• Plan and executed storage migrations project including powerscale nas migration and block storage migrations with minimal downtime
• Manage Dell PowerScale OneS features such as SyncIQ, SmartConnect, SmartQuotas, Snapshotid and SmartPools.
• Configure and administer IBM SVC storage pools, MDisks, volumes, host mappings, and replication technologies including Metro Mirror and Global Mirror.
• Provision and manage Dell PowerMax storage using Unisphere, SYMCLI, Storage Groups, Port Groups, Initiator Groups, snapshots, and SRDF replication.
• Administer Cisco MDS and Brocade SAN fabrics, including zoning, VSANs, ISLs, trunking, and fabric management.
• Perform storage provisioning, LUN masking, host connectivity validation, and multipathing configuration across VMware, Windows, Linux, and AIX environments.
• Monitor storage and SAN performance, conduct capacity planning, and troubleshoot latency, replication, and connectivity issues.
• Execute firmware upgrades, hardware refreshes, storage expansions, and lifecycle management activities following change management processes.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity solutions through replication, failover testing, and recovery exercises.
• Utilize tools such as Dell CloudiQ, Dell SRM, IBM Storage Insights, and Cisco SAN Analytics for monitoring and reporting.
