Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Storage Services Lead in Washington, DC, to oversee a global 24/7 storage operations team and manage complex storage platforms (SAN, NAS, object, cloud).

You will coordinate with engineering and government stakeholders to refine requirements, ensure SLAs, and drive reliable, secure data services. You will deploy and maintain systems (Brocade, NetApp ONTAP, Data Domain) during the SDLC, guide disaster recovery planning, and lead patches while preserving data

Qualifications

  • Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph prior to start.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage SLAs, and coordinate with engineering and government stakeholders.
  • NCDA – ONTAP or an equivalent OEM vendor certification.
  • DOE 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+).
  • At least 14 years of experience with an Associate degree, 12 years with a Bachelor’s degree, 10 years with a Master’s degree, or 8 years with a PhD.
  • Minimum six years of hands‑on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions, specifically enterprise storage systems.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.

Overview

The CIS program supports our intelligence customer by delivering IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting‑edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the storage team in providing global, 24/7 operational support and break/fix activities for all physical and virtual storage systems (SAN, NAS, object, cloud).
  • Serve as the primary liaison, collaborating with internal engineering teams and government stakeholders to refine requirements, ensure SLA compliance, and guarantee system availability, reliability, and resiliency.
  • Deploy, operate, and maintain major storage technologies (including Brocade, Data Domain, Dell FluidFS, NetApp, and Dell Storage Center) during the operational System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Monitor and manage efficient allocation, provisioning, configuration, security, and throughput; analyze service‑level metrics to maintain optimal infrastructure utilization and prevent incidents.
  • Direct and execute all data backups, replication, verification, and restoration services to meet time‑to‑restore/recover SLAs. Lead disaster recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) exercises.
  • Oversee continuous patch management and maintain physical and logical security of data at rest and in transit; manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) development to meet cybersecurity requirements.
  • Manage the transfer of engineered solutions from Engineering teams through Blue/Green fielding; develop test cases and use Lab facilities to promote incident resolution and validate acceptance tests.
  • Oversee the creation, quality control, and timely delivery of mandated Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs); drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and maintain knowledge base SOPs.
Qualifications – Required

  • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) – ONTAP or an equivalent OEM vendor certification.

Desired Qualifications
  • Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering.
  • Experience leading a distributed technical team.
  • Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments.
  • Proven experience conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), researching new technologies, and articulating infrastructure evolution benefits to stakeholders.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is $103,800 - $218,100.
