Job summary

Stingerrecovery is looking for personnel to work at their facility in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to enhance mechanical skills related to motor vehicles while working with repossession services.

Responsibilities include preparing vehicles for customer appointments, maintaining facility security, and ensuring the organization of inventory. Candidates should have at least a High School Diploma and prior customer service experience. Forklift operation skills are also needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in customer service with direct communication.
• 1 year minimum experience operating a forklift.
• Must be prepared for physical tasks including lifting up to 20lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check lot perimeter and all units for security breaches.
• Release vehicles for transport from inventory.
• Scan and upload documents from orders completed.
• Prepare units for transportation including cleaning and staging.
• Help with appointments for personal property and vehicle redemption.
• Secure all tagged keys at the end of the day.
• Move recovered units into lot spaces.

Description

This position offers the opportunity to learn or advance your general mechanical skills and knowledge for motor vehicles, while learning about an industry partnering with financial services. Storage facility personnel will maintain a secure facility where repossessed vehicles are stored. Daily duties include preparing vehicles for customer personal property clean out appointments, customer vehicle release appointments and transportation staging for vehicles leaving the facility. Individuals who succeed in this position have previous experience as dealership porters, mechanic's assistants, inventory assistants.

Duties Include

1. Check lot perimeter and all units for security breaches
2. Release vehicles for Transport from inventory
3. Scan and Upload documents from orders completed.
4. Prepare units for transportation (1. Locate 2. Clean 3. Stage)
5. Help throughout day with appointments. (Personals/Redemption)
6. Secure all tagged keys at end of day
7. Move recovered units into lot spaces

Requirements

• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required Forklift operation: 1 year minimum
• Required Customer Service: 1 year minimum of in-person, direct communication with a customer base.
• Must be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
• Must be prepared to spend multiple hours standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 20lbs, and being outdoors at any given time.
