Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a maintenance/housekeeping team member in Spokane, WA. The role involves cleaning storage areas and common spaces, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disposing of trash, while maintaining supply inventories and following safety guidelines.

Successful candidates will be organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn. The position requires reliable performance with minimal supervision and a readiness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Compensation Range: $17.13 to $18.00 Hourly.

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
