Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Client has a need to build out a new data center to move 100% of their data center to a new data center. However, after protracted discussions, 20% of their applications will get pulled out of this and put into a different data center that already exists. needs help mapping these applications back to the underlying infrastructure to remove it from the BOM so what remains are the goods and services for what remains. If there is time, to help client will update rack elevations to reflect the updated, reduced BOM.

The client will move their Sun workloads to the new IBM AIX. Their storage has been recently refreshed and will need to be moved instead of purchased, Hitachi, Pure, and NetApp. use Dell Data Domain for backup, client wants to pursue Commvault.

Skills Required:

Experience in Storage with the following hardware and software is a plus.
