Job summary

Comrise, a global technology company, seeks a Storage & Database DevOps Engineer to design, optimize, and scale database and storage platforms supporting high-traffic services in New York City. This role combines database/storage expertise with software engineering and DevOps to build automated, highly available infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with Redis/Tair, MySQL, TiDB, MongoDB, or Nebula Graph.
• Deep knowledge of database architecture, replication, and HA.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Mandarin and English proficiency required.
• Experience building internal platforms or tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design scalable storage and DB solutions.
• Develop architectures using Redis, MySQL, TiDB, MongoDB, and related data platforms.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Drive automation across deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Enhance platform reliability with self-healing and observability.
• Promote DevOps practices across DB and storage ops.
• Lead cross-functional infra projects from planning to exec.
• Coordinate with teams to define tech roadmaps and implementations.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and quality targets.
