STORAGE ADMINISTRATOR - Radford, Va.

• Support mixed environment of storage networks, consisting of multiple brands of network-attached storage, and fiber channel storage, and fiber channel switches.
• Design installations, configuration, security and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems.
• FC network and NAS attached storage systems performance tuning, troubleshoot, and apply near term fixes that result in long term solutions
• Refresh data from one environment to another at the request of the application or service owner customers.
• Develop and publish team vetted storage standards and policies as needed.
• Participate in 24x7, on-call support rotation and expected to work during mission critical situations.
• Qualifications

  Qualifications

  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years above mentioned Tasks/Duties, Storage Administration, Network Attached Storage Administration, Block Storage, FC Network Administration, Linux and Windows Server 2019/2022, PowerShell 2.0, CLI, with 2 years DoD STIGs, SRR scripts, IAVM, FC, CIFS, NFS and iSCSI storage protocols, block-based replication, In/On DoD enterprise environment.
  • MUST Be Available to work on site at Radford, Virginia Monday thru Friday with possible Weekend, Holiay and Last Minute needs!
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS/BA STEM Degree or Related Fields
  • REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s): Active CompTIA Security+ CE.
  • REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Secret.
