Job summary

Samson Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Storage Administrator to manage high-availability storage environments in a hybrid San Jose, CA setting. You will lead Pure Storage platforms (FlashArray/FlashBlade) and integrate with VMware vSphere/SRM, ensure DR/BC readiness, and optimize performance.

The role requires 8+ years of storage experience, strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python), ITIL processes, and hands-on expertise with SAN technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Enterprise Storage Administration experience.
• 5+ years of Pure Storage experience (FlashArray/FlashBlade).
• Experience with Pure1 Cloud Management and ActiveDR.
• Experience integrating storage with VMware vSphere and SRM.
• Advanced knowledge of FC SAN, NVMe, and enterprise SAN switching (Cisco MDS, Brocade).
• Hands-on with Snapshots, Replication, DR, and BC.
• Proven Storage Performance Monitoring/Tuning, Capacity Planning, and Optimization.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Solid ITIL knowledge: Incident/Problem/Change Management, Production Support.

Required / Core Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Enterprise Storage Administration experience.
• 5+ years of strong Pure Storage experience, including FlashArray and FlashBlade.
• Expertise with Pure1 Cloud Management and ActiveDR.
• Strong experience integrating storage with VMware vSphere and SRM.
• Advanced knowledge of FC SAN, NVMe, and enterprise SAN switching, including Cisco MDS and Brocade.
• Hands-on experience with Snapshots, Replication, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity.
• Proven experience in Storage Performance Monitoring/Tuning, Capacity Planning, and Optimization.
• Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, Incident/Problem/Change Management, and Production Support.
