Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Trainer Stop Loss Claims to join our growing team. The incumbent will develop training curriculums and materials for specific stop loss claims auditors, and provide refresher training to ensure readiness for production.

Responsibilities include serving as SME for the claims team, guiding auditors, reviewing claims, and driving process improvements in training and claims handling. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Specific Stop Loss Claim experience.
• Prior Team Lead or Management experience in stop loss claims.
• Experience with industry repricing methodologies (PPO, Wrap Networks, Reference Based Pricing).
• Demonstrated strong analytical/critical thinking skills and detail-oriented focus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop a training curriculum with materials covering all aspects of stop loss claims.
• Train new auditors and refresher training for current staff to production readiness.
• Serve as SME for assigned claims team and provide technical guidance.
• Review and analyze specific stop loss claims for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements in training and claims handling.
