Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Trainer Stop Loss Claims to join our remote US team. The incumbent will develop training curricula, train new auditors, and act as a subject matter expert for the stop loss claims team.

The role emphasizes process improvement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior team leadership in stop loss is preferred. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Specific Stop Loss Claim experience.
• Prior team lead or management experience in stop loss claims.
• Experience with industry repricing methodologies (PPO, Wrap Networks, Reference Based Pricing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a training curriculum and materials for specific stop loss claims.
• Establish an objective tool to measure trainee progress.
• Train new auditors and certify readiness for production.
• Provide SME guidance to the claims team on stop loss processes.
• Review and analyze claims and assist with over-authorization reviews.
