Job summary

Coldspring is seeking an employee to unload shot-saw cars and load multiple automated finish lines with granite slabs per production needs. You will identify cracks, move slabs safely, and mark each slab with job numbers and finish types, ensuring accurate placement for production.

This full-time role requires forklift operation, crane awareness, and meticulous inventory handling. You will work indoors and outdoors, follow safety protocols, and support color matching and ticketing processes in a

Qualifications

• Must obtain forklift certification (training provided)
• Ability to read work orders/production tickets and read a tape measure (imperial/metric)
• General math skills and problem solving to maintain production flow
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing tasks

Responsibilities

• Unload shot-saw cars and load automated finish lines with correct granite slabs
• Mark slabs with job numbers and finish types
• Coordinate color matching from multiple blocks with Stock Coordinator
• Inspect slabs to ensure size and quality per tickets
• Operate forklift to move granite stones; enter inventory in the JDE system
• Scan and look up inventory in JDE; apply production tickets to slabs
• Work indoors and outdoors; adhere to safety protocols
