Construction Resources in Woodbury, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a trained crew handling natural stone slabs. You’ll unload 20-foot ocean containers containing marble, granite, or quartzite, operate forklifts and cranes, and ensure safe, organized storage.

The role requires 2+ years in a stone yard or similar, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a rotating Saturday schedule. Compensation ranges from $24 to $27 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years warehouse experience in a stone yard or similar.
• Experience unloading ocean containers with natural stone slab bundles preferred.
• Forklift and crane operation experience; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload 20-foot ocean containers of marble, granite, quartzite slabs.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move and store slabs.
• Inspect materials for damage and verify receiving information.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Participate in rotating Saturday schedule.
