Job summary

Interior-Specialists,-Inc is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently move, store, and stage stone slabs and related products in our warehouse. You will ensure accurate inventory, support production and installation teams, and maintain safety standards across the facility.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading with forklifts and slab-handling equipment, inspecting incoming materials, and collaborating with fabrication and logistics to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Experience moving, storing, and handling stone slabs, remnants, or large-format materials.
• Proven ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, A-frame dollies, and material handling tools.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport slabs, remnants, and other materials using forklifts, slab handlers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials in accordance with company standards and product-handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage materials for production, fabrication, or delivery to installation teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, assisting with regular cycle counts and material audits.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage to high-value and fragile products.
• Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and equipment operation procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse, fabrication, and logistics teams to support efficient material flow and project deadlines.
