Construction Resources is seeking a skilled Stone Installer to work on interior and exterior projects. You will measure, cut, and install natural stone, tiles, and masonry products with precision and craft.

The role emphasizes surface preparation, proper substrate conditions, and durable sealing where needed. The position requires meticulous measurement, familiarity with cutting tools, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Meticulous measurements and installation.
• Familiarity with cutting and shaping tools used in stone installation.
• Proficiency in installing natural stone and tiles.
• Knowledge of adhesion techniques and sealing methods.
• Able to work independently and safely.
• Physically fit for manual labor and lifting heavy materials.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape stones using hand or power tools to fit project requirements.
• Prepare surfaces for stone installation by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper substrate conditions.
• Apply adhesive between stones and seal surfaces as needed for durability and appearance.
• Install all types of stone materials, including natural stone, tiles, and masonry products, in interior and exterior spaces.
• Ensure accurate alignment, spacing, and leveling of stones to achieve the intended aesthetic and structural outcomes.
• Identify and repair damaged or chipped stones during installation.
• Perform restoration work on existing stone installations to maintain integrity and appearance.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed stone installations to ensure quality.
• Address any defects or issues to meet client expectations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE; handle tools safely.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers for project goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members for seamless coordination.
