Job summary

Stone Systems is seeking an experienced Stone Craftsman to join our fabrication team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will polish and fabricate marble, granite, and artificial stone for high-end residential and commercial projects, using specialized equipment and precise hand-finishing techniques.

The role offers full-time hours, first shift (7 am to 4 pm), with overtime available. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage, plus uniforms and PPE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in stone polishing and fabrication.
• Experience with marble, granite and artificial stone.
• Experience on high-end residential, commercial projects.
• Forklift experience.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic measurement and math knowledge.
• Safety-oriented with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Polish, buff, and finish stone surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Fabricate and assemble marble, granite, artificial stone, and Dekton surfaces.
• Perform miters, returns, sink assemblies, and bookmatching.
• Hand-finish edges (bullnose, sharknose, pencil, ogee).
• Inspect pieces, take measurements, identify defects, and rework as needed.
• Operate stone fabrication and polishing equipment.
• Maintain craftsmanship, accuracy, and quality control.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Assist coworkers and support other fabrication duties.

Job description

Stone Systems is looking for an experienced Stone Craftsman to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience polishing and fabricating marble, granite, and artificial stone and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

This position is ideal for a skilled stone fabricator who is comfortable working with specialized equipment and performing detailed hand-finishing on high-end residential and commercial projects.

• $18 - 20.00/Hourly
• Full-Time, 40/hrs + Available OT
• 1st shift 7 am to 4 pm
• Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Polish, buff, and finish stone surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Fabricate and assemble marble, granite, artificial stone, and Dekton surfaces.
• Perform miter assemblies, full returns, sink assemblies, and bookmatching.
• Hand-finish various stone edges, including bullnose, sharknose, pencil, and ogee profiles.
• Inspect finished pieces, take measurements, identify defects, and complete rework when needed.
• Operate specialized stone fabrication and polishing equipment.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, accuracy, and quality control.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Assist coworkers and support other fabrication duties as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in stone polishing and fabrication.
• Experience working with marble, granite, and artificial stone.
• Experience with high-end residential, K&B, or commercial projects.
• Forklift experience.
• Construction, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of measurements and mathematics.
• Basic equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Safety-oriented and dependable.
• Ability to work standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday.
