Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Stone Fabrication Technician to support production and installation of stone countertops. You will operate fabrication equipment, safely handle stone slabs, and perform precise cutting, polishing, and assembly in a loud, wet machine shop environment.

The role involves working with CNC saws and polishing machines, reading simple construction documents, and assisting with field installations and forklift operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in stone fabrication or related construction work.
• Ability to read basic construction or blueprint information.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a loud, wet shop.

Responsibilities

• Load stone slabs onto CNC saw and polishing machines safely.
• Unload processed stone and stage for next steps.
• Perform dry cutting with hand tools when needed, following safety rules.
• Polish stone surfaces to meet required finish and quality.
• Construct countertops from cut pieces using epoxy and approved materials.
