You will read drawings, select materials, and fabricate components to meet exact specifications, while maintaining equipment and work areas to high safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 0–2 years in fabrication, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED and 0–2 years in fabrication
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass drug test and background check
• Experience with countertop fabrication is a plus
• Knowledge of machine operation and safety policies preferred

Responsibilities

• Examines specifications from drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine finished product characteristics and setup requirements
• Fabricates work pieces as per work order specifications
• Retrieves correct materials and performs fabrication tasks
• Inspects work pieces visually, by touch, or with gauges to ensure standards are met
• Operates and maintains machinery, performs preventative maintenance, and adjusts for various product types
• Keeps work area clean and safe, follows safety policies, and participates in routine checks
• Performs additional duties as assigned and seeks supervisor guidance on non-routine issues
• Deviations from standard work are cleared by supervisor
