Job summary

USA Jet, part of Ascent Global Logistics, Inc., seeks a Stockroom Specialist to support daily stores operations at Willow Run Airport in Belleville, MI. You will handle parts movement, data entry, shipping, and stockroom housekeeping while supporting safety programs.

Responsibilities include processing materials from vendors, maintaining paperwork, and generating shipping documents. Candidates should have a GED, be able to work in a team, and be comfortable with MS Office and AMOS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Capacity to creatively solve problems and react quickly to time-sensitive situations.
• Must stay calm under adverse conditions.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel preferred.
• Physical ability to lift/move items 10–20 pounds; occasional 20–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Controls and documents the movement of parts and material to and from the stockroom.
• Maintains cleanliness of aircraft stores area.
• Ensures proper data entries on rotable parts tracking tags upon return.
• Receives materials from vendors and in-house shops into stock.
• Keeps track of backing paperwork and copies it.
• Ships materials to vendors and in-house shops for repair or overhaul.
• Maintains equipment and materials needed to package and ship materials.
• Generates AMOS repair orders and MS Word shipping documents.
• Ensures part/serial numbers are entered into AMOS.
• Maintains cleanliness of Shipping/Receiving areas; ships/receives hazardous materials.
• Procures parts on AOG basis when needed; maintains vendor relations.
• Active participation in USA Jet Safety Programs and SMS; report safety concerns.
