Job summary

Eaton in Torrance, CA is seeking a Material Handler - 1st Shift to support our AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution team. Core hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The role handles receiving, storage, inventory, issuance, and shipping support to sustain manufacturing schedules. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in stockroom or material handling, a High School Diploma or GED, and a proven ability to work safely with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or material handling role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• This position does not offer immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.
• Relocation benefit is not offered; candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
• U.S. person for export-controlled information per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Store materials in designated stockroom locations and maintain inventory records.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and update systems to reflect stock levels.
• Pick and deliver materials to production areas to support schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom while following procedures.
