Job description

Supports the manufacturing division by stocking, receiving, delivering, packaging, and filling requisitions to maintain a safe, efficient, organized, and clean warehouse operation.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Checks Bill of Material (BOM) for quantity, manufacture part number, and stock numbers.
• Receives, identifies, and puts away stock items.
• Enters new locations in the computer.
• Pulls parts orders and other stock items and prepares kits for assembly.
• Checks safety stocks, counts and requisitions open stock items.
• Helps take physical inventory.
• Unloads and visually inspects incoming shipments for noticeable damage during shipment.
• Receives vendor items (either in computer or on hand receiver).
• Directs items to their proper location.
• Prints out computer received items and matches them to packing lists.
• Handles a pallet jack and knows operation of scales.
• Uses a forklift to perform various material handling duties

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must be able to communicate clearly and understand spoken and written word
• Must have basic math skills
• Experience with SAP Software a plus
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification within 30 days of hire.
