Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring for a Merchandiser role in Minnesota. This position focuses on merchandising, inventory management, and customer service, with opportunities in-store and for delivery support.

You may assist online orders and curbside pickup while building product knowledge through wine, spirits, and beer training. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of retail experience, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store, curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service: greet customers, engage to build relationships, inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws (if delivery is added as an essential job function).

About the Role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, you may also be assigned sales, front‑end or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, you will be referred to as Merchandiser and report to the store management team.

Compensation

Worker type: Regular. Pay range: $16.43 – $23.00 hourly, depending on experience and location. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
