Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and the store organized. You will stock shelves with groceries, move products from pallets to shelves, and ensure backstock is managed efficiently.

This entry-level position requires a team player attitude, basic technology comfort, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of groceries and products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
