Job summary

Meijer in Birch Run, MI is seeking a Part-Time Stocking Clerk to keep our shelves full and provide friendly, helpful service to customers.

This entry-level role involves stocking, back-room duties, and collaborating with store leadership to keep operations smooth. You may work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead, with opportunities for development and advancement.

Qualifications

Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
Organized and efficient in processes and procedures.
Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
Able to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
